Juba, June 18, 2026 (SSNA) — South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has dismissed Justice Minister Michael Makuei Lueth and transferred him to the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
In a presidential decree aired on state television, former justice minister Wek Mamer Kuol was named to lead the Justice Ministry once again. The changes took effect immediately, with no reason given for the move.
